Services
Pre-Construction Services are vital to the success
of a project as they are essential in establishing
a solid foundation to build upon. During this period,
Pearson works with owners or contractors to develop
an overall design and construction budget
and schedule
for completing the project. We assist in the selection
of a contracting strategy, selection of contractors,
contract terms, schedule specifications and change
order procedures.
Design
Management Services
After selection of the Design and Construction Team,
Pearson works with team members to prepare design
schedules and conduct constructability
reviews of design development drawings. We also
work with the team to prepare detailed schedules and
the production requirements necessary to achieve planned
completion. We can monitor that process throughout
construction and suggest recovery plans if necessary.
Construction
Management Services
Pearson’s staff includes construction managers, schedulers,
analysts, accountants, paralegals and technicians
with many years of on-site field experience. Our clients
tell us that our hands-on knowledge of the construction
industry and our ability to communicate our findings
in layman's terms is one of our greatest assets. We
carefully study the contract documents, quantity estimate,
participate in constructability reviews and conduct
extensive interviews with key trade contractors. We
work with a Primavera-based CPM schedule of the complete
construction process, including the submittal, fabrication,
delivery and installation of all components. Our industry
standard document
control systems allow real-time access to all
project related documents.
Project
Closeout Services
During this period, we assist our clients in resolving
disputes and closing out contracts.
