Pearson's Senior Personnel
David E. Pearson | President

David founded Pearson Management Group, Inc. in 1989. In 2019, Pearson Management Group, Inc, celebrated its 30th anniversary.
With over 45 years of construction management, contract management, scheduling and dispute resolution experience, David has consulted on hundreds of construction projects and served as an expert in more than 100 federal and state court cases and arbitrations across the U.S.
A 1973 graduate of the Auburn University Building Science program, David began his career on construction sites as a project engineer, estimator and project manager. He served as contracts manager for Blount, Inc., which in the mid-1980s was one of America’s largest construction firms. At age 34, he co-founded an American subsidiary of an international construction consulting firm.
David has provided construction management consulting services on many large, complex, and high risk construction projects across the country, including the Harrah’s Hotel and Casino in New Orleans, renovation of the Chicago Bears’ famed Soldier Field, the $800M Westin Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood, Florida, the $2.6B Revel Entertainment Complex in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and many sports complexes across the country.
JD Pearson | Vice President

JD Pearson began work with Pearson Management Group, Inc. in spring 2004 after graduating from Auburn’s Building Science program. During the past 18 years JD split his time between active project scheduling and forensic schedule and damage analyses, helping clients achieve timely completion and resolve claims. Since 2020, JD has completed forensic delay analyses on Circa Towers in downtown Los Angeles next to Crypto.com Arena, Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Tribune Tower in Chicago, the River Bridge in New Ulm, Minnesota, and Big Sioux Bridge in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.Early in his career, JD prepared a delay analysis on the FedEx Airbus Hangar in Memphis, Tennessee designed as a base maintenance center for the world’s largest commercial aircraft, the 60-story Elysian Hotel and Private Residences in downtown Chicago (now the Waldorf Astoria), McCormick Place Headquarters Hotel in Chicago, and a Korean manufacturing plant (AJIN) that supplies car parts for KIA and Hyundai. At JD’s recommendation, AJIN authorized Pearson to create a full-length construction animation for a bench trial. JD selected and worked with a boutique animator in Liverpool, England to create the animation that clearly conveyed how the project was constructed and the duration of events that caused delay.
JD and his family moved to New Orleans for a year in 2013/2014 to assist a large national surety in successfully completing construction of the troubled Carrollton Water Plant Power Complex project and prepare claims. Other on-site work includes working with the Retirement Systems of Alabama to timely complete the $200M Montgomery Hotel & Convention Center, the centerpiece of Alabama’s capital city.
Timothy A. Jewell | Vice President

Tim began his 40+ year construction career as a bridge field foreman and superintendent. In 1986, Tim earned his Associates degree from Coastal Training Institute. Tim and David began working together 31 years ago. Tim worked first as a draftsman, then as a claim analyst and scheduler. For the past 25 years Tim has served as Vice President of Pearson Management.
Tim has vast experience in forensic scheduling, including leading teams of analysts on over 600 schedule and delay analyses on virtually every type of construction and in every area of the nation. Tim has developed and monitored construction schedules on over 50 large, complex, high-risk projects.
